Thank
you to all the organizers of November 13th's joyous and successful
walkathon–
Walk Don't Destroy Brooklyn. A special big thank you goes to the lead
organizer without whom the event would not have happened–Sabine
Aronowsky.
We had over 350 registered walkers, over 400 people of all ages walked
and as a united community we raised over $60,000 which will go towards
the legal challenges to Ratner's development proposal.
You can still donate and/or solicit donations from friends, family
and colleagues. Its quick and easy, just click
here.
 |
Also, special edition
tshirts with the walkathon logo on back and the DDDB logo on
front are for sale. There are white on black ones, and black
on gold (As pictured). All sizes. $20.00 per shirt, all funds
go to the legal fight. If you would like to purchase a shirt
email us with
size and color. |
